We are an international and multidisciplinary artist collective; Jeremy Barnett, scenic designer and installation artist, Talysha Bujold-Abu, art director, installation artist and researcher, and Miriam Goldstein, theatrical director, writer and producer.
The Shoe Beer Collective takes a multimedia and interdisciplinary approach to our theatrical installation work and exploration. We are committed to dissecting the interplay between the art forms and erasing the distance created by those distinctions.
Our collective was officially formed in January of 2020 but we have been brewing our ideas and developing our current project (more to come soon) since 2018. Informally meeting and crystallizing the ideas, function and methods of our collective work over pints of beer led directly to the formation of The Shoe Beer Collective and we are excited to start sharing work with you all.
